Our Creative Workshops

BecWood Studio workshops are designed for gatherings where you want to offer guests something creative, relaxing, and meaningful. Each hands-on session is guided step by step in a welcoming atmosphere that encourages everyone to slow down, enjoy the process, and create at their own pace.

Using hand-collected shells, guests learn techniques to transform natural treasures into beautiful keepsakes with a refined finish. With plenty of guidance and room for personal creativity, every piece is unique and serves as a lasting reminder of the experience.

All materials, tools, and instruction are provided. Shells are carefully cleaned, sorted, and prepared in advance. Workstations are fully set before guests arrive, allowing for an easy start and steady flow throughout. Guidance is present when needed, without interrupting the creative process.

Setup and cleanup are handled in full. Guests can focus on the work itself, without distraction or extra steps. The experience is designed to feel smooth, considered, and ready from beginning to end.

Projects to choose from are: tote bag charms, painted scallop shell on stretched canvas, Christmas ornaments, trinket dish and magnets. Custom projects can also be coordinated

Shelling Excursions

Shelling is a simple way to slow down, focus, and work together. As the tide goes out, participants search the shoreline for shells, learning that observation, patience, and curiosity often lead to the best discoveries.

Everyone notices something different, creating opportunities to share ideas, help one another, and see the value of different perspectives. The experience encourages teamwork without competition and reminds us that the best results often come from paying attention to the details.

The shells collected during the walk become the materials used in the workshop, giving each participant a personal connection to the piece they create.
